YOUR RESOURCE FOR
Hello to all Hammarlund Fans;
Well, our thanks to Al Waller K3TKJ, of QSL.net, QTH.net and internet services fame. Al has sanctioned a new group to refurbish the Hammarlund Historian website, using his QSL.net server as a host,
THANK YOU AL!!
The new site has been undergoing extensive rework, and may be in this state
for some time (it's now November, 2002).
In the meantime, you are welcome to browse, and hopefully benefit, from our efforts.
Along with a "new" look, one big
new feature is the inclusion of a
and it's premier page is an article by Ray Vasek, W2EC, on re-capping the SP-600.
A new page, H-History, has just been added in Oct. 2002, with a picture of Oscar Hammarlund, and an account of the company history. The article is also available for download in Adobe Acrobat .pdf format from the H-Files page.
The manual page will include many downloadable (free) manuals and service info.
Files' will remain a big feature and consume about 5.7m in the download area.
This page will come up in the form of an FTP screen tree directory... these files are jpg's, they are kinda big in size, but are kept that way, so when you download them, if you have a nice ink jet or laser printer, they will print out a 'readable' 8.5x11.
You *may* get an 'image bigger than print area' warning, but that is of no concern,
it WILL print out everything to size just fine..
Enjoy the info, and the new site...thanks to Al Waller, we plan to bring you much
information, including downloadable manuals,
which we otherwise couldn't, so if you feel like it is worth something to you,
don't send anything to us, send it to Al W, to thank him, for helping us to make this
information available to you...
and it is for YOU;
You may download and use this information for your personal use, but profiting from it in any form, printed, magnetic or other form, will be frowned upon...
Show Al you greatly appreciate him for his graciousness... No, he does not ask for anything, but IF you feel the information is worth a couple dollars, tell him .... without Al Waller, there would be no space to put this information up on...
